Killadelphia: New Arc Coming Next Month
Killadelphia started off as a tale of father and son cops investigating murders on the streets of Philadelphia that were being carried out by a vampire army led by American founding father, John Adams. From there, the conflict between humans and vampires got bigger and weirder as more figures from American history like Adams' wife Abigail, Thomas Jefferson, and even George Washington became embroiled in the supernatural war on Philly's streets, but so did werewolves, witches, gods, demons, and characters from my other books like Nita Hawes' Nightmare blog.
That all happened over the course of the series' initial five arcs, but when Killadelphia returns this November for Issue #31, the series' apocalyptic war will get even bigger.
Characters from other Image books and a classic '70s horror film will join the fight.
Spawn, the Savage Dragon, and Blacula are coming to Killadelphia.
This story arc has been a thrilling one to tackle, and allows us to go places we never have, tell different types of stories, and elevate certain characters like Seesaw to a different level of power and influence over the universe.
I'm really excited about our guest stars. It's a huge thing for us because we have our little, insulated world that we created, but being able to bring in Spawn, Savage Dragon, and Blacula gives us an opportunity to expand our world and hopefully bring in new readers and folks who are fans of those other things, while still maintaining what we do with Killadelphia.
Killadelphia #31: Enter Spawn
The forces of Heaven and Hell clash on the battleground that is Philly and weave into the tapestry of a larger universe when TODD McFARLANE's greatest creation crosses over into the pages of KILLADELPHIA! All the power SeeSaw has gained and all the magic he’s learned will be put to the test when he faces off against comics’ greatest anti-hero! Anything can happen in this bold jumping-on point for new readers that will redefine the KILLADELPHIA universe as we know it.
Killadelphia #31 is yours on Nov. 15.
Killadelphia #1 on me!
To celebrate the upcoming continuation of the series’ return, here is a chance to start from the very beginning with the first full issue available to read for free!
Without further ado, we take you back to where it all started. Enjoy Killadelphia chapter 1, and dive into the series ahead of issue 31's November release.
Monarch TP Available Today
Young Travon has ventured beyond the makeshift shelter of his high school's walls in a desperate search for food and rations for the surviving students-but no heroic act goes unpunished. Travon finds himself captured and at the mercy of these strange beings from another world, but what do they want with him? Why are they attacking Earth? And will he ever see his beloved Daysha again, or is he as doomed as the rest of the world?
The Monarch TP, collects the entire miniseries (issues 1-6), and is available now!
Run, Fool is coming in November!
Run, Fool will follow an anthology format in the style of the Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt with each episode focusing on a singular, terrifying ghost story, from various periods of American history.
For instance, legend has it that a black goat farmer named Oscar Washburn moved his family to a residence just north of a bridge in a Maryland known today as Goatman’s Bridge. It got that name because it was haunted by a half-man, half-goat figure that Oscar Washburn sold tickets to see. Until horror ensued. Goatman is the first of dozens of these stories that will be told.
We’ve got some deliciously terrifying stories to tell, and an exciting list of folks joining in on the fun. So just know, when it gets too scary, you can always Run, Fool.
Me trying to look really spooky as I record the trailer for “Run Fool!” A new horror podcast hosted by me! Produced by @campside_media @atwill and @mrballen 🧛🏿♂️🧙🏿👽🧟♂️🧟♀️🧌🧛
Run, Fool drops on November 14th!
Florence & Normandie: Coming Soon!
From Zombie Love Studios comes a new tale of monsters and mayhem!
Down on his luck, Malik, an intelligent, young black man with an engineering degree— delivers fast food just to make ends meet. His girlfriend left him, his grandmother thinks he’s a disappointment, and his ambitions and hope are slipping away. He doesn’t think his life could get any worse…until an APB of a suspected criminal that matches Malik’s description puts him in direct odds with Officer Brown, a cop with a chip on his shoulder who is looking for any excuse to escalate the situation.
Now, Florence and Normandie - the cross-street infamously known as the flashpoint of the 1992 LA Riots - may just be the last thing Malik sees if he makes one wrong move…but little does he know that this landmark corner is about to find itself at the center of another seminal moment of American history: The world’s first alien invasion.
Can these two men, from polar opposite backgrounds, put aside their differences and stop fighting each other long enough to find a way to save Los Angeles… or will they kill each other first?
The story comes from legendary Rapper/Actor @xzibit and myself, with art from @wayshak and @margalotto.
Florence & Normandie is coming soon and will be a 5 chapter graphic novel.
Excited to read! Hope some zombies find their way into this horror saga again soon as well. Haha
