I have teamed up with Campside Media, the company behind Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen, and At Will Media, which is behind Apple’s podcast and docu-series Wild Things, for a horror podcast titled Run, Fool.
Run, Fool will follow an anthology format in the style of the Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt with each episode focusing on a singular, terrifying ghost story, myth, or legend stemming from black folklore. Episodes will take place throughout various periods of American history.
The Urban Legend Goatman about a bridge in Maryland that is haunted by a half-man, half-goat figure will be the first of dozens told. Legend has it that black goat farmer Oscar Washburn, who had moved his family to a residence just north of the bridge, would sell tickets to see the figure… That is until horror ensued.
The series is set to launch in 2023 with Campside and At Will yet to select a distributor for the podcast. The companies are already lining up TV adaptations of some of the stories.
We’ve got some deliciously terrifying stories to tell, and an exciting list of folks joining in on the fun. So just know, when it gets too scary, you can always Run, Fool.

Following a space battle with another bounty hunter, Mando traveled to Tatooine for parts to fix his battle-damaged ship. In order to pay for the parts, he took a job with another bounty hunter, Toro Calican, to hunt down mercenary Fennec Shand.
After multiple double-crosses, Mando took out Calican and paid for his ship parts, continuing his long journey.

Meet Jason Shawn Alexander
Meet Jason Shawn Alexander, my artistic partner and illustrator for my upcoming graphic novel Blacula: Return of the King’. He also illustrated the art for my series ‘Killadelphia’!
Alexander is a painter, illustrator, and comic book creator. He displayed his first ever solo exhibition in 2009 titled Insomnious at the 101/exhibit in Miami. The Tennessee native only continued to elevate in his career since then and has published projects for @dccomics, @marvel, and @darkhorsecomics.
We’re excited to share Blacula: Return of the King with you all come the new year.
