Good day to all! An update on all things Dark Apocrypha related…
Nita Hawes Nightmare Blog is coming!
The first issue has interior art by the great Patric Reynolds, and the layouts were done by my partner in comics Jason Shawn Alexander.
Who is Nita Hawes?
By profession, Nita is a professor of parapsychology at Morgan State University. Inside, she’s wrestling with the trauma of loss, but an aspect of her hurt has returned from the grave to help her—and by proxy—the city of Baltimore.
Why?
Because demons have overtaken the city.
There’s more to this, and soon, all secrets will be revealed!
When?
October 20.
On that same day, IG-88, my one shot contribution to the epic War of the Bounty Hunters saga drops as well!
Also in October is the release of James Bond: Himeros #1 from Dynamite Comics! This Bond adventure takes 007 into the dark and seedy world of sex trafficking.
Also coming in October is Army of Darkness 1979 #2! Continuing the adventures of Ash as he battles the gangs of New York in a war for the Necronomicon!
And last but not least, Issue #17 of Killadelphia is on sale right now!
That’s it for this week! In next week’s newsletter, I’ll update all in regards to Johnny Gatlin, Elysium Gardens, and some HUGE news regarding Zombie Love Studios!
Until then,
Be safe.
Rodney
Thanks for the update! Nita Hawks’ Nightmare Blog gives me Lovecraft vibes. The character designs in there may be your best yet! I’m excited about the others as well! I’ve been trying to find one of the metal covers of Army of Darkness 1979 #1. I had no idea Dynamite was doing those.
Your work is amazing. I hope it continues to represent what you are and what you mean to the industry.
