Jack Johnson Limited Series in the works with HBO
I am happy to announce that I have joined the HBO limited series project, set to star Mahershala Ali as boxing legend Jack Johnson. I will serve as a Writer and Executive Producer on the Untitled limited series which we are adapting based on the PBS documentary Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson.
The six-part series will be an unapologetically no-holds-barred telling of Jack Johnson, the world’s first Black Heavyweight Boxing Champion. This bold exploration depicts the champion’s rise to athletic greatness and the costs he paid for his skin color and defiance, which created a blueprint for Black resistance in every justice movement for generations to come.
Killadelphia Vol 4: Bram Stoke Awards
I am proud to announce that myself alongside Jason Shawn Alex, Luis Nct and Chris Mitten are on the preliminary ballot for the Bram Stoke Awards for our work on Killadelphia Vol 4.

Blacula has risen again. The cult classic horror character has returned in my new graphic novel. My good friend and artist Jason Shawn Alexander is doing the art. This Blacula graphic novel has long been a passion project for me and I can’t wait for you guys to get your hands on it.
